Santa Claus i ett essentiellt konstperspektiv

Santa Claus i ett essentiellt konstperspektiv

In times of darkness and misogyny one man stands above the rest - with a moneychest to deep it can't leave him broke. He travels all over the world counting in those who are gratified for a gift - thue they are of a minority - this is the year 2100 and the world has gone mad - he is Santa Claus - the lone rider (riding his flying Delorean).

The list of good people - who hasn't just eaten their spinach but contributed to society - are on the verge of existence. All people all over the world has been hooked on to a narcissistic plague - a mass psychosis without the happy parts. When robots where introduced and IQ levels were highted all people existing on Earth went totally introverted. All people just turned their way to art - highlighing their possessions and striving the most out of them - but all the way there was no real artworld anymore - just as the artworld awoke some 10000000+ years ago it ceased with Josh Groban's 'The End Of The Art World' - a found installation relational performance happening. All the people of the world was now injected with different worlds for a minor list of people never connected with each other after internet broke down with Karen Watergate's 'Internet Was Never Here' (found site-specific relational installation).

But all was not so dark and misogyny - people found something to believe in – their respective art works existed for real - a pointer to absolute thinking. It's here Santa Claus gets in the picture - cause his christmas gifts (for the low minority of people still eligible) were art pieces he bought of a guy named Stan (Stan's art piece 'I Rule The Art World (I Am The Art World)' (found installation conceptual performance) left Stan with most of the art world's art works after the art world broke down.) And this was Santa Claus curse (or gift) since the whole of earth's population turned thieves and supposed to steal eachothers art works (all catalysts by 'These Are Mine' (found relational art hall) by David Winterbottom).

Santa Claus thue, thrived in this sorrounding - having long lost the days in which he had to be out the whole of Christmas Eve he could now get a normal 9-5 job (as Santa Claus(!) - as normal as it gets when your Santa Claus.) Since he found this strange metallic in the dungeouns of his place of resident (North Pole) and sold it on the commodity market he fired his elves and seek to find something that suited the Earth's nowadays population. As been of almost unlimited wealth he soon find something suitable for Earth's population. He was there to buy all of that current year's gifts from Stan. (As their was no real art market the value of the pieces was that of 2032 when the art world broke down.) Recompiling the list of actual gift receivers he detailed it to include the most valuable gifts (painting and sculpturing) for the most well-behaved and so on with the next last well-behaved and so on.

But this year he made an inclusion to that rule - he had already last year been in vain with how to handle twins - will they recieve one gift or two gifts - this year thue he decided (all on the grounds of niceness (both twins(?)) to give them one gift per twin (i.e two gifts).

But calculating bases for niceness and the compiled list Santa Claus found out one more inclusion that needs to rethink. What to do with siamesic twins (?) - are they just on the one end of gift or do they gather two gifts. Santa Claus soon decided to give them two gifts (Jackson Pollock's 'Number 17A' (200 million) (painting) and Constantin Brâncusi's 'Bird In Space' (35 million) (sculpture)).

Soon the Christmas Day was here and the siamesic twins recieved their gift. Drawing from that the siamesic twins restarted the meta-craftmaking and purged 'Number 17A' and 'Bird In Space' together resembling a combine ('Number 17 In Space'). This then led to the reinstallation of the art world - and a limitation of Santa Claus as art pieces now could be traded to and fro (not the same need for Christmas). Santa Claus once again became victorious.

  1. hello Niclas, I was thinking about, in the text, you refer to a sociaety with higher intelligence.. I read in World of Science that doctors are thinking about a way to increase peoples intelligence. The way was to inplant a chip in the brain to increase the level to around 200. We shall see what the future brings. Hug!!, your Friend, Linda Persson.

  2. Hello there, you little doll. It's actually my companion Henrik who wrote the piece but nonetheless - do you think - in general - that people will get more introverted or extroverted as intelligence go up?
