Jultomten i Pisa
The time flew forward as the tides on water with Santa Claus dealt only minor discrepances on until 2683. The time had come to fly to Pisa for an international Santa conference gathering the few (but not least) Santa Claus' of the world.
On until the meeting come to an end a trouble regarding Santa Claus' (the one true real) elves was highlighted when a computer bug saw to not comply with all the elves and their names (all ending in elf (surname)). This halted their booked travel back home to the North Pole and so they had to stay (in Pisa) for at least that Christmas.
On so that happend that a secret cult holding bay in Pisa tried the elves as a brainwashing (-ed) tool in their attempt on turning the world flat again (The World Is Not Round). On doing so they haltered Santa Claus in his mode to cover all Earth's giftbearing in just two days (Christmas Day and Christmas Eve) as Santa now had to fly to the end of the world and then back all way to cover the other end.
On that occassion Santa Claus tried to manipulate the elves back to his favor without bringing war with the cult and their byline (The World Is Not Round). Even if Santa could get some elves under his control Santa Claus was worried it would be not enough to resolve all the gift-bearing for that Christmas.
Santa Claus conspicious act (solution) resolved around defining the Earth (with the help of the recovered elves) to a cyclical (flat) nature. By that Santa could carry larger areas without going to and fro the whole of Earth and also benefit from the fact that day (and night) in this new set-up was double in length.
Santa Claus was once again victorious.
